Workshops & Retreats

Our workshops and retreats are highly customized. After getting to know a client, our consultants recommend particular activities, scenarios, and case studies that are relevant for the unique organization and current situation. The workshops themselves are highly interactive, with group work and individual skill-building comprising at least two-thirds of the time, which makes the presentation time much more relevant and connected to the learners’ experiences. Workshop and retreat timeframes are typically offered in four-hour blocks of time so they can be done in a half day. Some topics can be covered at a high level in as little as an hour or two, while others may be recommended as full-day, or even two- or three-day workshops. Individuals and teams are often given the opportunity to complete an online or written assessment that can provide an awareness of their leadership strengths and help them set development goals.

Suffice to say that no two workshops given by J L Funk & Associates are identical. Customized design is our specialty, and our clients benefit from it much more than from canned programs.
